Potato Pizza with Salsiccia

Salsiccia is an incredibly delicious Italian sausage with a wonderfully soft texture. The sausage suits almost all kinds of pizzas and is especially delightful on potato pizza.

Potato Pizza with Salsiccia

Ingredients

  • Dough
  • 10 g yeast
  • 300 ml lukewarm water
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 250 g all-purpose flour
  • 250 g pizza flour
  • Topping
  • 5 small potatoes
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 100 g salsiccia
  • 1 ball mozzarella
  • Fresh thyme
  • Parmesan

Instructions

  1. Dough
  2. Dissolve the yeast in the water and add oil, salt, and flour
  3. Knead the dough well and let it rise in a warm place for at least 3 hours
  4. Topping
  5. Crush the garlic and mix it with olive oil
  6. Slice the potatoes thinly
  7. Cut the mozzarella into slices
  8. Roll out the pizza thinly and brush with the oil mixture
  9. Place mozzarella on top, distribute the potatoes, and top with salsiccia
  10. Bake the pizza at 200°C (fan) for 12 minutes
  11. Once the pizza is out of the oven, top with Parmesan and fresh thyme
