Vanilla can also be replaced with, for example, cardamom or cinnamon. The oatmeal can be made very easily in a microwave or in a pot.

  • 150 ml rolled oats
  • 2 tsp vanilla sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 150 ml milk
  • 150 ml water
  • Toppings such as fruit and berries

Instructions

  1. In the Microwave
  2. Pour oats, vanilla sugar, salt, milk, and water into a bowl.
  3. Heat the oatmeal on medium power in the microwave for 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. In a Pot
  5. Pour oats, vanilla sugar, salt, milk, and water into a pot.
  6. Bring the oatmeal to a boil while stirring.
  7. Continue stirring until the oatmeal has reached a thick consistency.
  8. Serve with your favorite topping.
