Nutella Swirls
If you like cinnamon rolls and cardamom twists, these Nutella swirls are just for you! Here, I've made homemade Nutella, which is really easy and has a distinct and delicious taste of roasted hazelnuts. Of course, you can also just use the original Nutella from a jar. The dough for the Nutella swirls is a brioche dough, which makes it deliciously soft and not too sweet.

Nutella
Toast the hazelnuts well in a dry pan
Blend the nuts in a mini chopper until they start to form a mass and the nuts become oily
Add cocoa powder, powdered sugar, salt, and melted chocolate, and blend further until smooth
Nutella Swirls
Once the dough has risen, roll it out on a floured surface into a rectangle about 35 x 60 cm
Briefly warm the Nutella so it is easy and soft to spread
Spread Nutella over 2/3 of the dough from the short end
Fold the top 1/3 over the middle, and then the bottom over the middle so there are two layers with Nutella
Gently roll the dough out again until it measures about 20 x 35 cm
Cut 8 strips along the long side and roll them from one end to the other
Place the swirls on a baking sheet and let them rise for 1 hour
Bake the Nutella swirls for 20 minutes at 180°C conventional oven and sprinkle with pearl sugar
Bake the swirls for an additional 5 minutes so the sugar melts slightly
