Naan Bread

Naan bread is a delicious Indian flatbread, perfect for dishes like Indian dal or chicken tikka masala. They are quick to make and don't require much time in the kitchen. In my recipe, I use garlic and parsley mixed with butter for a delicious flavor.

Ingredients

  • 380 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 5 tbsp plain yogurt
  • 100 ml water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 handful fresh parsley
  • 30 g butter

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Add oil, yogurt, and water, and knead the dough well.
  3. Divide the dough into 4 pieces.
  4. Shape each piece into a flat circle.
  5. Cook them on a hot dry pan for 3 – 5 minutes on each side.
  6. Melt the butter and add chopped garlic and parsley.
  7. Brush the naan breads with the garlic butter and serve them warm.
