Lasagna

Lasagna is a flavorful dish that is a hit among both children and adults. It is made with breadcrumbs on top, which makes it extra delicious and crispy. Serve your lasagna warm and enjoy it with a fresh green salad and a good red wine (or a tasty soda). Bon appétit!

Ingredients

  • Meat Sauce
  • 400 g ground beef
  • 2 onions
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 50 g tomato paste
  • 1 can peeled tomatoes
  • 100 g grated carrots
  • 50 ml water
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp coarse salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Additionally
  • Lasagna sheets
  • Béchamel sauce
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Parmesan
  • Fresh basil

Instructions

  1. Meat Sauce
  2. Lightly sauté onions, garlic, oregano, and thyme in a sauté pan
  3. Add meat and let it brown well
  4. Stir in the remaining ingredients, and let the sauce simmer for 1 hour
  5. Assembly
  6. Layer the lasagna in the following way three times in a baking dish: meat sauce, béchamel sauce, lasagna sheets
  7. Finish with béchamel sauce and sprinkle breadcrumbs over
  8. Bake the lasagna at 200°C conventional oven for 25–30 minutes until the breadcrumbs are golden
  9. Top with grated Parmesan and fresh basil
