Cook the pasta al dente.
Melt half of the butter in a pan.
Add 3 tablespoons of pasta water and stir.
Add the pasta and coat it well with the butter.
Add another 3 tablespoons of pasta water and the rest of the butter.
Stir in the Parmesan and mix everything well together.
Serve with freshly ground pepper and grated Parmesan.
