Fettuccine Alfredo

Fettuccine Alfredo is a classic Italian pasta dish with few but rich ingredients. The combination of butter, Parmesan, and pasta water creates a silky and creamy sauce that clings to each pasta strand. The dish is simple to make but tastes like something from a fine Italian restaurant, perfect for both everyday indulgence and for guests.

Ingredients

  • 500 g fettuccine
  • 90 g butter
  • 90 g Parmesan
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta al dente.
  2. Melt half of the butter in a pan.
  3. Add 3 tablespoons of pasta water and stir.
  4. Add the pasta and coat it well with the butter.
  5. Add another 3 tablespoons of pasta water and the rest of the butter.
  6. Stir in the Parmesan and mix everything well together.
  7. Serve with freshly ground pepper and grated Parmesan.
