Cheese Bread

Crispy ciabatta slices with melted mozzarella, juicy tomatoes, fresh basil, and a hint of garlic oil, perfect as a snack or light lunch.

Cheese Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 ciabatta bread
  • 2 balls of mozzarella
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 beef tomatoes
  • Salt and pepper
  • Basil leaves

Instructions

  1. Slice the ciabatta bread
  2. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper together
  3. Spread the mixture on each bread slice
  4. Slice the mozzarella so there is enough to cover all the bread slices completely
  5. Similarly, slice the tomatoes
  6. Place the bread on the grill for about 10 minutes until the cheese begins to melt; alternatively, bake in a 175ºC convection oven for 10 minutes
  7. Garnish the bread with fresh basil
